Dungeon Transmog Guide - Upper Blackrock Spire

Upper Blackrock Spire (UBRS) is getting a complete revamp in Warlords of Draenor. As with previous revamps, this means some great transmog gear is disappearing from the loot tables. Our gallery below highlights unique pieces you may want to acquire before patch 6.0.

Cloth

Polychromatic Visionwrap This hot number is a completely unique piece. There is a dress version (Aboriginal Robe), but this is the only top. It has a 20% chance to drop from Solakar Flamewreath.

Spiritshroud Leggings These thigh-high leggings are the only version of this model in this color. They have a 23% chance to drop from The Beast. Check out the Golden Shadows Priest Transmog for outfit ideas.

Starfire Tiara Perfect for a Wonder Woman transmog, this is the only headband with a red star on it. There were other models, but they are no longer in game, as is the fate of this one. Dropped by Jed Runewatcher.

Dragonskin Cowl A unique lilac coloring of a standard cloth hood. Dropped by Gyth

Ironweave Cowl The same model as the Dragonskin Cowl, but a unique purplish-black color.

Leather

Truestrike Shoulders These are the only gold and orange color of the "Shadowcraft" shoulders, and don't belong to any official transmog set. Dropped by Pyroguard Emberseer.

Crystallized Girdle This unique model belt is not part of an official transmog set, but is great for a teal monk transmog. Dropped by Solakar Flamewreath.

Eye of Rend This eyepatch is not unique to UBRS, but you may want to grab it while you're there. Other sources for this model/color are the Winterfin vendor in Borean Tundra (sold for 30 Winterfin Clams) and as an Alliance quest reward in the Stockades. This patch is dropped by Warchief Rend Blackhand.

Blackmist Armguards These bracers are a unique coloring for this model. They are part of the Stormshroud Armor set and drop from The Beast.

Blademaster Leggings These leggings are almost pink, maybe close enough to pick up and keep in your Void Storage. This unique coloring is dropped by the Beast.

Mail

Tristam Legguards These legs, dropped by The Beast, are not actually unique, as similar color/model are also dropped by Firemaw in Blackwing Lair. The name may or may not be a reference to Diablo, so that seems like a good enough reason to pick these up.

Plate

Warmaster Legguards These legs share color and model with the Brutish Legguards, which are a random world drop green with less that 0.5% chance to drop. The Warmaster Legguards have a 25% chance to drop from Warchief Rend Blackhand.

Brigam Girdle This funky lime green belt is one-of-a-kind! Dropped by General Drakkisath.

Weapons

Felstriker This dagger is a unique color, but not model. It has a 2% chance to drop from Warchief Rend Blackhand, so it may take awhile to farm.

Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge This sword was used as the model for the one hand agility heirloom sword. It and it's set-mate (see below) are named after a set of weapons in Diablo 2. Check out the wowhead comments for more info on that. 9% chance to drop from Warchief Rend Blackhand.

Dal'Rend's Tribal Guardian The off-hand that makes up Dal'Rend's Arms set with Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge. 11% chance to drop from Warchief Rend Blackhand.

Blackhand Doomsaw This polearm is also available from a quest chain in Nagrand involving Lantresor of the Blade, the falf-orc, half-draenei. If you've already done that quest pre-transmog, this might be good to pick up. Dropped by Warchief Rend Blackhand.

Finkle's Skinner This dagger is not a unique look, but it has some nice bonuses. Equipping it gives +10 to skinning skill, and it also serves as a skinning knife.

Blackblade of Shahram This sword only shares it's model with one other item, which is red. If you're actually equipping this sword it has a chance on hit to summon a Flamewalker ghost. It has a 1.6% chance to drop from General Drakkisath.

Vaelan's Claw This dagger is a completely unique model. Enchants will override the purple glow though. Quest reward from General Drakkisath, Hand of Nefarian given by Acride, the orc sitting right inside the Blackrock Spire dungeon entrance.

Sword of Nefarian's Hand While not a unique model, this is the only green version of this two-hand sword. Also a reward from General Drakkisath, Hand of Nefarian.

Staff of the Second Orb Another unique-colored weapon from General Drakkisath, Hand of Nefarian given by Acride, the orc sitting right inside the Blackrock Spire dungeon entrance.

Patterns

Plans: Arcanite Champion This sword, when used for transmog, hides other enchants and keeps its white glow. The blacksmithing pattern is BOE, but with only a 5% chance to drop from Goraluk Anvilcrack it may be hard to find for sale.

Pattern: Heavy Scorpid Shoulders This pattern was not available the entirety of Cataclysm due the mob who dropped it being removed. It made a reappearance in Mists, dropping from Blackhand Assassins in UBRS. Now the pattern will be on it's way out once again. In case they don't add it back a second time, it's a good one to pick up now.

Pattern: Red Dragonscale Breastplate The chest piece created with this pattern is not unique, but recipe collectors may want to pick this one up anyways.
